Our Motto
In Matthew 22, Jesus calls us to
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” and to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” These two commands are at the core of SB2W’s philosophy and are the basis of the camp motto, “I’m Third” (God first; Others second; I’m third.)

Join us for our 23rd Season!
Summers Best Two Weeks is a Christian sports camp for students ages 7 – 13 (entering 2nd through 8th grades). We focus on Jesus and His love for us while at the same time teaching the campers over a dozen different sports.

At SB2W, we split the campers up into squads based on age and gender. We also separate them into two teams, Romans and Galatians. With much interaction between the teams and squads, campers will learn how to participate with a mindset that encourages respect for an opponent. Of course we teach campers the skills necessary to win, but we emphasize that without the other team, there is no opportunity to win.

A typical day at camp includes a few things. The morning consists of activity periods for campers to learn the skills required to play different sports, which is followed by a time to study the Bible with their squad and learn more about Jesus Christ. Later on in the afternoon they get the chance to compete in competitions where they will put their newly honed skills to use in a real game.

Campers also get the chance to go on an overnight camp out and share in all the traditional elements of a camping experience. In week two of camp, we hold a swim meet and track meet to give another real-life opportunity to use their newly developed skills.

We are certified by the State of New York Department of health. The camp is well supervised and led by caring, responsible adults.

SB2W is a place where Jesus Christ is honored and kids are strengthened in their self-confidence. If these things are important to you, consider sending your child to SB2W this summer. It may be the very best two weeks they’ve had yet!

Our Staff
Summer’s Best Two Weeks is staffed by fully experienced camp personnel who share a love for Jesus Christ and a desire to share that love with the campers. We believe that proper care and supervision is vital to a successful camp, and through this leadership we assure that camp will be each child’s best two weeks of the summer.

Senior Counseling Staff
is composed of college students who have a deep commitment to Jesus Christ and a tremendous love for kids. Many of the counselors are athletes on their campuses.

The Junior Counselors are local high school students who manifest superior leadership skills and devotion for kids.

Work Crew work behind the scenes to assure that camp is running smoothly. Many are camp veterans who love the experience of camp and want to ensure that camp continues in a wonderful way.

Because of the active nature of camp, we provide a Camp Nurse. This person provides care necessary for kids on the move.

The Committee
is a group of adults who make sure that camp is ready to go each year. Our camp has become well-known and respected over the years because of the hard work of present and former committee members.
